Autumn has come, and now a lot of beautiful leaves. Color is of course not important to us, but the mood is appropriate asks. I tried to select and find leaflets that are stronger and so that this texture is read especially well on the back side. You need to remove the sticks from the leaves, because it is imprinted he wont be anyway, so we dont need them. The next step I put the plaster on the tablet. I put plaster on it and apply it to the surface. In order for the texture to appear, you need to type the leaflet. To do this, it is better to use a rubber roller, wallpaper. I also decided to finish the wands, already additionally to set more realistic and lively images. When I arrived, I saw that in some places the leaves themselves have moved away from the surface, so they are removed they are very, very easy. Where the stucco swam heavily on the leaf, you can moisten it, that the sheet is easier to separate from the plane. In some places, the leaf remains, you need to clean, remove, so that theres nothing left. The successful options for the execution of leaflets include this. There is just no unnecessary plaster, she did not get. The leaflet turned out quite smooth, without not very good influxes. The only thing is, by attaching leaflets to the surface tablet, I concluded that it is better to use the leaves are softer than the harder ones so that the sheet fits snugly to the surface walls. The next stage of work will be sanding. It will be necessary to sand the entire surface, remove burrs. But, of course, do not make much effort in sanding leaflets themselves, otherwise you can seriously damage drawing of the sheet, i.e. the skinning efforts should be small ones. It is important to clear the texture of the sheet and then, after after the dust is cleaned (you can do this with a vacuum cleaner) this must be done. Then you can already primer and use the coating. When priming a large surface it is better to use roller. Since I have a small format I will use brush. It is important to ensure that smudges do not form. These smudges will then appear very ugly on finished work. After the coating has dried, after the primer, you can start staining. Generally, coatings with a low, shallow relief, like its better not to paint it, but to patinate it, because that paint, it still smooths out any irregularities. Since the relief is very thin, low, it can score, so ideally, of course, use a coating white, or tinted, then to cover it only patina. That is, with the help of a patina, it is already possible to highlight the texture. Since my coating was not white, but a little bit gray. Since my coating turned out not gray, but gray, Im all I want to paint it now to prepare for patination. For this I will use a roller, but not much hairy, and like velor, so that the pile was small, so that you dont get a big shagreen. Therefore, Ill try now to walk this roller. Let’s see what I get and how the texture will change. Without strong pressure we pass with a roller, we paint so so that the paint does not get inside the leaves, because that here then the image will be patinated and there will be driven there a darker color. Summing up the first phase of my experiment for performing decorative coating with prints leaflets, I can draw the following conclusions: It is better to use a decorative coating, white or tinted, because, for example, the universal that I used, it is not perfectly white and the color is grayish. I didnt roll out the stucco layer very well underneath leaflet. That is why it turned out in places such not very good influxes. It is seen that the density, thickness of the plaster under the leaf stayed.
